From humble beginnings Nikola and Anthony Brdar decided to use their ship-building and fabrication expertise and acquire property along the Port River in Adelaide, South Australia in late 1995 early 1996.
Now celebrating 20 years since its inception, the company has an impressive range of successfully completed projects for a number of different industries.
Recently completed projects include the high profile Mast Ship Blocks for the ASC Air Warfare Destroyer Alliance, which with other completed mechanical componentry for the ship totalled a value of $15,000,000 worth of work over a 4 year period.
For the Oil and Gas Industry, MG Engineering recently successfully completed all mechanical fabrication and installation work for APA Group’s Angaston to Mildura Compressor Upgrade Station Project.
MG Engineering’s portfolio also consists of numerous shipbuilding projects such as Fishing Trawlers for Spencer Gulf and Saint Vincent Fisheries projects and the Government River Murray Ferry builds and commissioning’s as well as large fabrication projects for the Defence, Mining and Construction sectors.
