MG Engineering is well known in the Naval shipbuilding Industry and has worked with major defence force contractors such as BAE, ASC, Luerssen and others. We are familiar with working to the Defence sectors exacting standards and our company is ISO9001 certified.
MG Engineering has the capacity to build and transport Modular Blocks of up to 40 metres in length, 20 metres in width and 400 MT in weight. The blocks can be outfitted at anyone of our three large undercover workshops. Blast and painting services can also be provided onsite.
Our services include project management of the build, 3D modelling and supply of all quality assurance documentation. We adhere to Block acceptance auditing processes and provide full traceability on supplied documentation for materials, welding, painting and other elements of the build. We are familiar with and have employed 3D theodolite technology to achieve the very high levels of accuracy demanded by our clients.
With our waterfront location, hardstand area and slipway facility, we can construct large modular blocks which are too big to be transported by road. MG Engineering can also provide tug/barge services to ensure delivery to your nominated offloading port.
