Key Milestone for SA shipbuilder MG Engineering

MG Engineering has secured its first export contract, for international company Penwarden Holdings in New Zealand.

‘MG Engineering won the export contract to build a 6million Scampi Trawler for Penwarden Holdings. The project, which employed new team members has just celebrated the ‘Turning of the Hull.’ Cranes were called in to turn over 3 hull and superstructure blocks to form one complete ship structure.
