Marine & General (MG) Engineering is a South Australian Engineering company that was founded by Nikola & Anthony Brdar.
Established in 1995, MG Engineering celebrates its 25th year as one of Australia’s leading Marine Engineering Companies.
Working closely with the Australian Government on key National Navy & Defence projects such at the 2015 8bn Air Warfare Destroyer Project, MG Engineering won the contract to build the Mast for each of the Australian Navy ships.

In 2020, MG Engineering was on of the first sub-contractors in Australia to be awarded work on the 35 billion-dollar Future Frigate Program, by being awarded the contract to create 4 ‘mini’ ship-blocks that will be placed at the Tonsley Innovation Centre in SA. This unique project will assist with the research and development of ship-building technologies and innovation in Australia.

MG ENGINEERING IS A LEADER IN ENGINEERING & FABRICATION AND HAS A DIVERSE PORTFOLIO OF PROJECTS TO SHOWCASE ITS CAPABILITIES INCLUDING:

  • Fishing Trawlers for the Spencer and St Vincent Gulf Fisheries Project
  • River Murray Ferries for the SA Government
  • Ship repair and maintenance for Sealink
    24m long Scampi Fishing Boat for International client Penwarden Fisheries
  • Substantial fabrication projects for the Defence, Mining and Construction sectors
  • Mechanical fabrication and installation work for APA Group’s Angaston to Mildura Compressor Upgrade Station Project.
